About the Role

Treasure Mills Inc. is seeking an experienced Industrial Automation Specialist to join our team.

As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and reliable operation of our robotic systems and automation equipment.

Your primary focus will be on operating, maintaining, and programming these systems to optimize performance and efficiency.

You will work closely with our production supervisor to prioritize jobs, minimize downtime, and ensure that our packaging machinery is running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain robotic systems and automation equipment
  • Provide training to team members on the use of these systems
  • Perform regular maintenance and cleaning tasks to ensure smooth operations
  • Program systems to optimize performance and efficiency
  • Work closely with the production supervisor to prioritize jobs and minimize downtime

In this role, you will manage two full production lines, which include five robots and various automated components such as robotics flow wrappers and packing lines.

This position requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting and continuous improvement in a dynamic environment.

Requirements:
  • 2 years of industrial food equipment experience
  • Knowledge of robots, conveyors, high-speed packaging equipment, and electrical/electronic controls
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a food manufacturing facility
  • Knowledge of SAP and SQR would be an asset
  • Knowledge of HACCP preferred

We offer a competitive salary, estimated at $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.

Please note that weekend work is required, with shifts typically being four-five days per week, 8-10-12 hours in length.
