Rotoscope Artist
This position is based in Vancouver, where Zoic Studios is located. We are looking for a skilled Rotoscope Artist to join our team.
About the Role
- As a Rotoscope Artist, you will be responsible for creating high-quality matte elements for use in compositing.
- You will work closely with our compositors to ensure that the requested matte elements meet all technical and creative requirements.
- You will use rotoscope techniques in Nuke or Silhouette to generate mattes and splines.
- You will use paint and compositing techniques in Nuke to produce clean plates, remove rigs and seams, or other artifacts.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Rotoscope and Paint.
- Strong eye for composition, detail, light, and color.
- Stereoscopic experience.
- Experience in Silhouette and Nuke.
- Ability to work efficiently and independently.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
Additional Information
- Candidates must be located in the Lower Mainland, British Columbia.
- This role requires the candidate to work onsite, within our Vancouver Studio in Gastown.
- Zoic does not cover relocation costs.
