About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious School Bus Driver to join our team at First Student Canada-Transco. As a School Bus Driver, you will be responsible for transporting students to and from school safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a school bus in a safe and responsible manner
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students on board
- Follow established routes and schedules
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Provide excellent customer service to students and parents
Requirements
- Valid driver's license for at least 1 year
- At least 21 years old
- Good verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Pass a Ministry prescribed medical examination and background check
What We Offer
- $20.97/HR starting wage; depending on experience
- No experience necessary - we train
- Free training
- Hours guarantee - 3 hours minimum
- Additional hours available - charter route opportunities
