Job Description

Reporting to the Senior Director, Infrastructure and Operations, the Chief Information Security Officer will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing comprehensive security strategies to mitigate risks and protect university assets.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
  • Leveraging industry-leading technologies to stay ahead of emerging threats.
  • Mentoring and guiding junior staff to build a high-performing team.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A university degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in IT security, with a strong background in identity access management, project planning, and risk analysis.
  • Expertise in security incident handling, threat intelligence, and vulnerability assessment.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset.
Estimated Salary Range

$108,337 - $134,456 per annum, based on qualifications and experience.
