Job Description

High Tech Genesis is seeking a seasoned Chief Security Officer to lead our organization's security efforts. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our assets, mitigating risks, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and Execute Comprehensive Security Strategies: Lead the development and execution of robust security processes to assess, mitigate, and manage risks across all operational facets of the organization.
  2. Oversee Crisis Management Protocols: Ensure preparedness for unforeseen events and oversee crisis management protocols to minimize disruptions.
  3. Design and Implement Security Processes: Design, implement, and maintain robust security processes and policies to safeguard the corporation's assets.
  4. Risk Identification and Mitigation: Identify, analyze, and mitigate risks pertaining to informational, physical, and financial security.
  5. Compliance and Regulatory Affairs: Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure adherence to local, national, and global regulations, particularly in areas such as privacy, health, and safety.
  6. Security Team Leadership: Provide leadership and direction to the security team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  7. Research and Development: Conduct ongoing research to stay abreast of emerging security threats and trends, and drive the implementation of innovative security management solutions.
Requirements
  1. Leadership Experience: Proven experience in a leadership role within the security domain, with a track record of successfully implementing security initiatives.
  2. Security Expertise: In-depth knowledge of security protocols, compliance standards, and crisis management best practices.
  3. Analytical and Communication Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess and mitigate complex risks, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Relevant Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Security Management, Risk Management, Business Administration) required; advanced degree preferred.
  2. Relevant Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Information Security Manager, Certified Chief Information Security Officer).
