Engineered Wood Floor System Design Technician

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Engineered Wood Floor System Design Technician to join our Engineered Wood Products Design Team at Standard Building Supplies Ltd.
About the Role:- Assist sales staff and construction professionals in creating ready-for-construction layouts and material lists for delivery.
- Read and interpret architectural and structural plans to provide accurate designs.
- Provide technical support to on-site framing crews, project managers, and project engineers via phone, email, and site visits.
- Design single-member (joist and beam) solutions using Javelin software.
- Familiarity with wood frame construction and building materials knowledge is an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe PDF, and Javelin software.
- Ability to read architectural and structural plans.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
