We are currently seeking an experienced, motivated, and client-driven individual to join our team as a Senior Accountant in our Timmins office. As a Senior Accountant, you will be an integral part of our team, working closely with clients to provide high-quality services and support their business goals.


Your primary responsibilities will include:



  • Year-end planning and coordination with clients, ensuring timely completion of engagements
  • Preparation and review of engagement reports, including notice to reader and audit engagement reports
  • Supervising engagements and related tax filings within a paperless office environment
  • Identifying and resolving engagement issues, ensuring client satisfaction and regulatory compliance
  • Training and mentoring junior staff on engagements, promoting knowledge sharing and skills development
  • Providing timely, high-quality client service that meets or exceeds client expectations
  • Identifying and cultivating new sales/service opportunities for clients, driving business growth and revenue

A successful candidate will possess:



  • University Business Degree, preferably with a focus on accounting or finance
  • CPA designation or equivalent professional certification
  • Three or more years of progressive public accounting experience, with a strong understanding of technical accounting and tax principles
  • Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Bilingualism in French/English is an asset, but not required
  • A passion for client service and a commitment to delivering exceptional results
