Salary


We offer a competitive remuneration package based on experience and qualifications. The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 CAD, depending on qualifications and experience.



Job Description


As a Senior Accountant, you will be an integral part of our team, working closely with clients to deliver high-quality accounting services. Your primary responsibilities will include:



  • Year-end planning for various companies, including communication and coordination with clients directly
  • Preparation and review of notice to reader, review and audit engagement reports
  • Supervising engagements and related tax filings within a paperless office environment
  • Identifying and resolving engagement issues
  • Training and mentoring junior staff on engagements
  • Ensuring the clients' satisfaction with the firm's services
  • Providing timely, high quality client service that meets or exceeds client expectations
  • Identifying and cultivating new sales/service opportunities for clients


Required Skills and Qualifications


To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • A University Business Degree
  • CPA designation is an asset
  • Three or more years of progressive public accounting experience
  • Strong technical accounting and tax knowledge
  • Bilingualism in French/English is an asset
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills
  • A passion for client service
