About the RoleThis exciting opportunity as a Technical Sales Representative has become available at one of Europe's global leaders in industrial pump design and manufacturing.
The company boasts decades of market presence, delivering proven technology, exceptional quality, and superior service to clients across various sectors, including oil and gas, chemical processing, and environmental industries.
Key Responsibilities- Sales and Business Development:
- Provide expert advice and identify new opportunities and customers in your designated territory.
- Develop close working relationships with engineering firms, contractors, end-users, and OEMs.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for accounts, maintaining relationships and driving new business.
- Product Demonstration and Support:
- Conduct in-person, virtual, and trade show demonstrations of various product lines.
- Provide after-sales support, including troubleshooting, field service repairs, start-ups, and training.
- Client Engagement and Negotiation:
- Negotiate terms with clients and close sales effectively.
- Provide weekly and monthly reports, including visit reports, market updates, and sales activities.
To succeed in this role, candidates should demonstrate the following:
- Education & Experience:
- A post-secondary education, preferably in a technical or mechanical discipline.
- At least 3–5 years of experience in surface pumps, systems, or a similar field.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques.
- Proficiency in CRM software and tools like Microsoft Office Suite.
- Other Requirements:
- Ability to travel up to 50%.
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving abstract.
