Trade Finance Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Trade Finance Operations Specialist to join our team in Toronto, Canada. As a key member of our Trade Finance Operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of trade finance transactions and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Process complex trade finance transactions, including commercial letters of credit, documentary collections, and other trade finance products.
- Verify client documentation and ensure compliance with governing regulations and internal policies.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, sales teams, and other departments to provide timely and effective solutions to customer inquiries and concerns.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and provide expert advice to customers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements and implement changes to enhance operational efficiency.
- Undergraduate degree in Finance or Business.
- Knowledge of trade finance products and services is an asset.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, and experience with trade finance software.
