Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychiatrist to join our team at Homewood Health Centre. As a Psychiatrist - Adult Inpatient, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading interdisciplinary teams, and contributing to the development of our mental health services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive psychiatric assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans for adult inpatients
- Lead and participate in interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of our mental health services
Requirements:
- Specialist certification in Psychiatry from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPS) (C) or equivalent body acceptable to the RCPS (C) and in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our mental health services
