Job Title: Retail Store Manager
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Manager to join our team at BC LTD. As a Retail Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, including managing sales staff, maintaining inventory, and ensuring excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and motivate a team of sales staff to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and manage stockroom operations
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase sales and revenue
- Monitor and control expenses to ensure profitability
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail management role
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly
- Relocation costs not covered by employer
Work Setting:
- Retail business
- Willing to relocate

Tasks:
- Assign sales workers to duties
- Hire and train or arrange for training of staff
- Authorize payments by cheque
- Order merchandise
- Authorize return of merchandise
- Establish work schedules
- Sell merchandise
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages
- Organize and maintain inventory
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers
