Job Title: Senior Quality Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Designer to join our team at Parsons Oman. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for preparing complex drainage and stormwater management layouts and design drawings using theoretical and practical design knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret and ensure conformance to applicable standards and codes, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Utilize advanced software to complete assignments and perform basic geometrics design of road & highway systems, including grading and drainage.
  • Work closely with Engineers and other disciplines to ensure coordinated design systems and meet stormwater management and drainage layout requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with required design safety factors, tolerances, and specifications, and review supplier data and supplier/manufacturer drawings as required.
  • Check orthographic (2D) and/or isometric (3D) drawings prepared by others and perform checking procedures as appropriate to the discipline and assigned by immediate supervisor.
  • Assist in training lower-level Designers in various procedures and utilize Civil3D and/or Microstation, InRoads/OpenRoads to perform various design work.
Requirements:
  • 2-year technical degree or certificate of completion from an accredited designer/drafter course (or equivalent)
  • 8+ years of relevant experience
