About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Arena Operations Manager to join our team at Middleton District Rink Commission. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our commercial facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management: Direct and control the operations of our commercial facilities, ensuring that all aspects of facility management are running efficiently and effectively.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Direct the maintenance and repair of our establishment's machinery, equipment, and electrical and mechanical systems, ensuring that all equipment is in good working order.
  • Financial Management: Plan and manage the facility's operations budget, ensuring that all financial resources are utilized effectively.
  • Administrative Services: Plan, organize, and direct administrative services such as signage, cleaning, maintenance, parking, safety inspections, security, and snow removal.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot problems related to equipment, ensuring that all issues are resolved promptly and efficiently.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring that all necessary supplies are available when needed.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that all team members are working effectively.
  • Event Planning: Schedule events, programs, and activities, ensuring that all events are well-planned and executed.
  • Daily Operations: Plan and organize daily operations, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in facility management or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of facility management principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions
  • Work Term: Temporary

  • Hours: 25 to 40 hours per week
