We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Arena Operations Manager to join our team at Middleton District Rink Commission. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our commercial arena.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management: Direct and control the operations of our commercial facilities, ensuring that all activities are carried out in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Direct the maintenance and repair of our establishment's machinery, equipment, and electrical and mechanical systems, ensuring that all equipment is in good working order.
  • Financial Management: Plan and manage the facility's operations budget, ensuring that all financial resources are utilized effectively.
  • Administrative Services: Plan, organize, and direct administrative services such as signage, cleaning, maintenance, parking, safety inspections, security, and snow removal.
  • Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot problems related to equipment, identifying and implementing solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring that all necessary supplies are on hand.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
  • Event Planning: Schedule events, programs, and activities, ensuring that all logistical arrangements are made in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Daily Operations: Plan and organize daily operations, ensuring that all activities are carried out in a safe and efficient manner.
Requirements
  • Experience: Experience in a related field is an asset.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Schedule: 25 to 40 hours per week.
