About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef Specialist to join our team at Kemball Investments Ltd. As a key member of our culinary staff, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations and ensuring that all food served meets our high standards.
Job Summary:
The Executive Chef Specialist will be responsible for managing kitchen staff, ordering supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. You will also be required to train new staff members and assist with menu planning and preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Determine Food Portion Sizes and Costs: Ensure that all food portions are accurate and meet our budget requirements.
- Inspect Kitchen and Food Service Areas: Conduct regular inspections to ensure that all kitchen and food service areas are clean and well-maintained.
- Train Staff: Provide training to new staff members on food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen safety procedures.
- Maintain Inventory and Records: Manage inventory levels, track orders, and maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Clean Kitchen and Work Areas: Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the kitchen and surrounding areas.
- Manage Kitchen Operations: Oversee daily kitchen operations, including meal preparation, serving, and cleanup.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- 7 Months to Less than 1 Year of Experience: Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
