Salary
The estimated salary for this Registered Nurse position ranges from CAD $41.42 to $59.52 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

About the Role
This part-time Registered Nurse opportunity is available in our Emergency Department at Peace Arch Hospital in White Rock, B.C. As a member of our interprofessional care team, you will work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care. This role offers the chance to consolidate your skills and gain experience in emergency nursing, while also participating in post-graduate specialty nursing courses/programs.

Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients and collect information using observation, communication, data review, and physical assessment
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with patients and their families/caregivers
- Collaborate with the interprofessional care team to ensure comprehensive care planning and delivery
- Provide education to patients and families/caregivers on illness prevention, health restoration, and health maintenance
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes according to practice standards and Fraser Health procedures

Requirements
- Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
- Completion of the applicable post-graduate specialty nursing course/program or willingness to complete within agreed-upon time frames
- Current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
