About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at Bar Burrito. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation: Plan menus and estimate food requirements for special events and daily operations.
  • Cooking and Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, including special meals for patients with dietary restrictions.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Team Leadership: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and lead by example to ensure high-quality dishes are served to our customers.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by preparing dishes to order and ensuring that all food is presented in a clean and appealing manner.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a kitchen environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
