Food Service Manager

FATIMA KARAHI CORNER is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service establishment.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and establish methods to meet work schedules.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports.
- Team Management: Establish work schedules, supervise 5-10 people, and provide guidance and support to team members.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment.
- Personal Suitability: Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Support for Newcomers and Refugees: FATIMA KARAHI CORNER provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees.
- Support for Youths: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
- Support for Indigenous People: Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
Language: English. Hours of Work: 32 to 35 hours per week. Duration: Permanent.
