Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Hydrogeologist to join our team at Parsons Corporation. As a key member of our Critical Infrastructure team, you will play a crucial role in supporting environmental project work related to site assessment, risk assessment/management, and remediation of contaminated sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support contaminated site projects in Western and Northern Canada
  • Develop a thorough understanding of Alberta regulatory frameworks and experience with other regulatory frameworks (CCME, SK, MB, BC, NWT) is an asset
  • Work with GIS and databases to analyze and interpret data
  • Communicate effectively with regulatory bodies and mentor/supervise junior staff
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals

Requirements:

  • 4-year degree in a scientific discipline
  • 5+ years of related work experience
  • Direct/specialized experience in one or more of the listed disciplines is an asset
  • Proficiency in various software applications used in the assigned discipline
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Eligibility for registration in, or maintaining a good standing in, a professional organization

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or higher
  • 10+ years of related experience
  • Registered Professional Geologist or Engineer
