Job Title: Principal Hydrogeologist

ERM Environmental Resources Management is seeking a highly experienced Principal Hydrogeologist to join our team. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects related to environmental assessment and permitting for large-scale capital projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage technical teams to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.
  • Develop and implement strategies to expand our integrated water management services to our client base in Canada.
  • Collaborate with other ERM global practitioners to execute projects and contribute to business development.
  • Provide technical expertise and leadership to drive growth in the areas of environmental impact assessment, land planning, facility siting & permitting, risk assessment, and water resources management.
  • Actively contribute to ERM's international water resources technical community.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of consulting experience in water resource management, impact assessment, and permitting.
  • MSc/PhD in earth science, environmental engineering, or a related field.
  • Well-developed team building and influencing skills.
  • Solid grasp of key regulatory drivers within the mining sector.
  • Recognized technical expertise by an established reputation in the marketplace.
