Job Title: Food Counter Attendant

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Food Counter Attendant to join our team at SAUJANI ENTERPRISES Inc. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Package take-out food and prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet customer demands
  • Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, taking orders and handling cash transactions
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars, receiving, unpacking, and storing supplies in designated areas
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to ensure a clean and safe environment
Requirements:
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Will train on the job
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads
  • Physically demanding role requiring standing for extended periods
  • Reliable and efficient with excellent interpersonal skills
Work Environment:

Our restaurant is located in a rural area, and public transportation is available. The work environment is fast-paced, and overtime may be required.

Language:

The primary language spoken in the workplace is English.

Hours of Work:

30 to 40 hours per week, with a permanent work term.
