Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Attendant to join our team at SAUJANI ENTERPRISES Inc. As a Food Service Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a clean and safe dining environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to maintain a high level of hygiene and safety.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, such as cooking and reheating food, and portioning and wrapping food for customers.
  • Customer Service: Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, take orders, and handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Inventory Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas, and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Housekeeping: Clean and sanitize the dining area, including tables, chairs, and floors, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but a willingness to learn and train is essential.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a food service environment is an asset, but not required.
  • Physical Demands: The ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy loads (up to 23 kg/50 lbs), and work in a fast-paced environment is required.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
Work Environment

Our restaurant is located in a rural area, and public transportation is available. The work environment is fast-paced, and the ability to work under pressure is essential.
