Marble Craftsman

We are seeking a skilled Marble Craftsman to join our team at Grand River Granite LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, measuring, and marking surfaces to be covered, as well as installing tile strips and ensuring a precise fit. This is a physically demanding role that requires strong attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination.

• Surface Preparation: Prepare surfaces to be covered, measuring and marking as needed to ensure a precise fit.
• Tile Installation: Install tile strips, cutting and fitting around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools.
• Quality Control: Inspect work for quality and accuracy, making adjustments as needed to ensure a high-quality finish.
• Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to complete projects efficiently and effectively.

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
• Skills: Ability to distinguish between colours, attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and ability to work in a team environment.
