Job Title: Marble Craftsman

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Marble Craftsman to join our team at Grand River Granite LTD. As a Marble Craftsman, you will be responsible for preparing, measuring, and marking surfaces to be covered with marble, as well as setting tiles in place and applying pressure to affix them to the base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, measure, and mark surfaces to be covered with marble.
  • Set tiles in place and apply pressure to affix them to the base.
  • Align and straighten tiles.
  • Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools.
  • Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles.
  • Install tile strips.

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience.
  • Ability to distinguish between colours.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Hand-eye co-ordination.
  • Large workload.
  • Overtime required.
