Job Summary

Canada Post Corp is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Post Office Assistant - Customer Service Representative. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, selling postal products and services, and ensuring the smooth operation of our post office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Service: Sell postal products and services to the business community and public, including mail and parcel services, postage stamps, and other retail items.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Mail and Parcel Processing: Sort, distribute, and process mail and parcels into appropriate classifications, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Store Operations: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to health and safety standards, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent, and/or experience in business administration.
  • Experience: Training and/or experience interacting with the public in a retail and/or service environment, including sales and cash transactions.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and physical fitness to lift mail containers and stand for extended periods.
