Account Service Representative - Outdoor Division

Mountain Exposure is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Service Representative to join our Outdoor Division team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for cultivating and growing our brands throughout Western Canada.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cultivate and grow Mountain Exposure brands throughout Western Canada
  • Support Account Managers with their respective territories and client relationships
  • Communicate with established accounts about orders and delivery cycles
  • Develop and execute a seasonal service visit plan
  • Observe inventory of products and write ASAP orders
  • Administer and distribute retail staff pro deals
  • Provide daily, weekly, and seasonal feedback and updates to the management team
  • Responsible for ongoing and positive communication flow to the management team and the respective brand Customer Service teams
  • Ensure Mountain Exposure service exceeds client expectations
Awareness, Education, and Promotions
  • In-store sales-related projects and other support duties as required
  • Inspire retail staff about Mountain Exposure brands and conduct effective in-store merchandising visits
  • Develop, schedule, and deliver engaging educational and seasonal product knowledge clinics detailing the products and brands
  • Organize, set up, and support regional event marketing events, outdoor events, and tradeshows
  • Be an ambassador for the brand in-store and on the road
  • Set up and run brand promotional events
Requirements
  • Passion for and significant experience with climbing, the outdoors, and all that Mountain Exposure stands for
  • Proven success in outdoor retail store servicing and sales support with outstanding customer service standards
  • Enjoys flexibility, traveling, and adapting to life on the road
  • Strong, professional communication, listening, and presentation skills, including verbal and written
  • Excellence in building strong, long-term relationships
  • Self-motivated and energetic attitude
  • Proven attention to detail, organization, prioritization, and time management skills
  • A great sense of humor and ability to contribute to the team culture
  • Adaptable to a fast-paced and changing environment
  • High level of commercial acumen, sound judgment, and decision-making skills
  • Display a growth mindset to develop and continually grow
  • Ability to work well in a remote virtual environment
  • Strong digital skill set with social media, sales tools, Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems, etc.

Role Requirements
  • Must be located in Calgary, AB
  • Hybrid role: working remotely from a home office, working at the Calgary Mountain Exposure office, and traveling to client sites within AB and BC
  • Full-time with flexible working hours and weekend coverage
  • Approximately 70% travel within Alberta and BC
  • A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle will be required
