About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Parts and Service Consultant to join our team at The 401 Group of Companies.

Compensation and Benefits

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of approximately $60,000 per year, plus a monthly bonus. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health and wellness enrollment opportunities, employee pricing on parts and services, and a corporate swag e-site for employees exclusively.

Job Description
  • Assist clients in the parts store by providing exceptional customer service and ensuring they receive the right products.
  • Verify warranty and service contract coverage by examining records and papers, explaining provisions and exclusions.
  • Develop estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labour, calculating customer's payment, including deductibles.
  • Prepare repair orders (RO) by describing symptoms, problems, and causes discovered, as well as repairs and services required.
  • Provide parts for Auto techs for ROs and perform parts inventory audits.
  • Work without constant supervision, follow all Health and Safety guidelines, and complete other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High school education or equivalent.
  • Understanding of automotive parts and strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a friendly attitude and above-average technical knowledge.
  • Valid G Driver's License and acceptable driving record.
