We are seeking an experienced Advanced Automotive Technician to join our team in Ottawa, ON. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing advanced automotive repairs and maintenance on our fleet of vehicles. This includes diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical issues, as well as ensuring all work is completed to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform advanced vehicle repairs and maintenance, including brake, suspension, and transmission work.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues, including those related to drivetrain, clutches, and other systems.
  • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, with attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues to achieve goals.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Previous experience in gas or diesel vehicle repair, preferably with school bus experience.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanics and ability to diagnose complex issues.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
