We are seeking an experienced Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at the Manitoba Adolescent Treatment Centre. Reporting to the Program Manager, this role is responsible for providing secretarial and administrative support to a multi-disciplinary team.

The successful candidate will have two years of experience in a health/medical related environment, with knowledge of medical terminology and transcription. A Grade 12 diploma or equivalent is required, along with formal training in applied office skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Databases, and Adobe is essential.

This role involves maintaining records management systems, including classifying and coding electronic and hard-copy files. Excellent typing and proofreading skills are necessary, as well as the ability to maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Strong organizational and time management skills are also required, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

The estimated salary for this role is $55,000-$65,000 per year, depending on experience. This is a full-time position with a 0.80 FTE, working days with a 7.50-hour daily schedule. The successful candidate will be responsible for any service charges incurred for a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check, and Adult Abuse Registry Check.
