Retail Store Team Leader Position

At BC Ltd, we are seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Team Leader to oversee the daily operations of our retail store. This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires exceptional leadership and management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To supervise staff members, ensuring they have the necessary guidance and support to excel in their roles.
  • To hire, train, and develop new team members, promoting a culture of growth and development within the organization.
  • To manage cash transactions, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • To organize and maintain inventory levels, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing effective solutions.
  • To establish work schedules, prioritize tasks, and allocate resources efficiently.
  • To prepare and submit reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters, providing valuable insights for business decision-making.
  • To resolve customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may arise, demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; relevant experience in retail management is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Physical stamina to work long hours on your feet, including evenings and weekends.
