Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Educational Facilitator to join our team for the Summer Learning Academy. This is a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on students' lives and help them prepare for success in the 21st century.

About the Role

This position involves designing and delivering professional instruction during summer school to provide academic, social, physical, and skills development for students in specific grades/subject areas. The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background, excellent teaching skills, and the ability to work effectively with students and colleagues.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Designing and delivering engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs
  • Fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Assessing student progress and adjusting instruction accordingly
  • Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum


Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have a Bachelor's Degree in Education and an endorsement in the grade/subject taught, along with a valid Tennessee certificate. Additionally, you should be committed to the entire period of summer school and available for preparatory planning sessions, administrative meetings, and closeout operations as needed.
