We are seeking a skilled and experienced Butcher to join our team at LAITH MEAT SHOP. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of meat products for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and Prepare Meats: Clean and prepare meats to ensure they are ready for processing or cutting.
  • Cut and Trim Meats: Cut and trim standard cuts of meat to meet customer demands.
  • Wrap and Package Meats: Wrap and package prepared meats to maintain freshness and quality.
  • Remove Bones and Weigh Meats: Remove bones from meat and weigh meats for sale to ensure accuracy.
  • Cut Poultry and Price Meat Products: Cut poultry into parts and price meat products to meet customer needs.
  • Sell Meats to Customers: Sell meats to customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Supervise and Train Team Members: Supervise and train other butchers, meat cutters, and fishmongers to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Operate Equipment and Machinery: Operate manual cutting utensils and slicing machines to prepare meats.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Work Setting: Butcher shop environment with a fast-paced atmosphere.
  • Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
