About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Butcher to join our team at Indo Pak Grocery & Halal Meat. As a Butcher, you will be responsible for preparing and cutting meat for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cutting and Preparing Meat: Cut carcasses, sides, and quarters, and prepare standard cuts of meat for sale.
  • Meat Processing: Clean meats to prepare for processing or cutting, and remove bones from meat.
  • Customer Service: Sell meats to customers, and provide excellent customer service.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels and ensure that meat products are properly stored and displayed.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other butchers, meat cutters, and fishmongers to achieve sales goals and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a butcher shop or related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with exposure to odors and cold temperatures.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy loads, and perform manual cutting tasks.
