Job Title: Procurement Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Lead to join our team at AtkinsRéalis. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and supervising procurement activities for various projects and business units.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead procurement activities for projects and business units.
  2. Review and analyze purchasing documents.
  3. Supervise and mentor Buyers and Order Administrators.
  4. Interface with project management and clients.
  5. Lead supplier negotiations and kick-off meetings.
  6. Create and issue procurement packages.
  7. Ensure procurement data integrity and project status updates.
  8. Oversee completion of non-conformances.
  9. Periodic supplier/shop oversight visits.
  10. Resolve supply chain issues.

Requirements:

  1. Post-secondary education preferred.
  2. SCMP certification or enrollment in SCMP programs is desirable.
  3. Minimum 10 years' experience in buying/expediting complex procurement packages or equivalent.
  4. Knowledge in manufacturing and experience at supplier facilities.
  5. Knowledge of contract terms and conditions.
  6. Experience in supplier negotiations.
  7. Experience in quality program standards and processes related to supply chain.
  8. Understanding of financial systems, invoicing/milestone payments, levels of authority, ethics/compliance/integrity controls, HSE requirements, and complex service contracts.
  9. Knowledge of contract law and competitive bidding best practices.
  10. Ability to mentor junior buyers and procurement administrators.
  11. Lead and supervise procurement activities for projects and business units.
  12. May be required to travel or work at project sites.
