Job Overview

Giant Tiger is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Merchandise Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Category Management team, you will be responsible for providing timely and error-free administrative support regarding SKU File management, with a focus on data integrity.

About the Role

This role will follow a hybrid/onsite schedule, with applicants expected to work on-site from our Laval Office. As a Merchandise Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

  • SKU creation and maintenance, ensuring data integrity and communicating changes to cross-functional teams
  • Vendor administration, including domestic vendor setup and issuance of manuals, as well as providing information to vendor inquiries
  • Administrative support for import quote sheet execution
  • Creating and releasing packages and return sheets per buying calendar
  • Category/assortment administrative support, including size and color codes and purchase logs
  • Responding to Buying Help Desk inquiries regarding SKU File notifications and communicating information required to resolve store issues

What You'll Bring

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience, ideally in retail
  • 1-3 years of work experience, ideally in retail (either store or buying office)
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills
  • Demonstrable attention to detail and a commitment to data integrity
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products (Outlook, Teams, Excel)
