We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at MS Bassi Construction Ltd. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and installing structures and fixtures made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare layouts and designs in accordance with building codes and regulations.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials to create structures and fixtures.
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
- Schedule and coordinate work on construction sites.
- Estimate costs and materials required for projects.
We welcome applications from newcomers and refugees who are looking to start a new career in Canada. As a Carpenter, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse team and contribute to the construction of safe and affordable housing.
We offer a permanent work term with 40 hours of work per week. The work language is English.
