We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at MS Bassi Construction Ltd. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for preparing layouts, measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials to build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
- Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
- Scheduling and coordinating work on sites.
- Estimating costs and materials.
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience.
- Support for newcomers and refugees.
- Recruits newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster.
- Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition.
- Permanent employment.
- English language.
- 40 hours per week.
