Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Vice President of Engineering to lead our technology team and drive the development of innovative products that leverage our patented active noise control technology. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for shaping the future of acoustics and crafting environments that redefine the very essence of sound.
Key Responsibilities- Product Innovation: Drive the development of innovative products that emphasize active noise control technology, meeting high-quality standards and aligning with our company goals.
- Cross-functional Team Leadership: Lead a multidisciplinary team, fostering collaboration among hardware engineers, software developers, and acoustics specialists to optimize ANC solutions.
- Advanced ANC Solutions: Stay at the forefront of active noise control advancements, integrating state-of-the-art solutions into products to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
- System Infrastructure: Oversee the design and maintenance of our system infrastructure, with a focus on intelligent hardware and software integration and ability to scale.
- Budgeting and Security Development: Manage the development of our platform, strategically allocating resources for hardware and software development in the context of noise reduction applications, and implementing robust security measures to safeguard proprietary ANC algorithms and sensitive data.
- Collaboration with Sales & Marketing: Work closely with the Sales & Marketing team to ensure that ANC technology aligns with client needs and our platform, while effectively communicating noise reduction solutions to the market.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of regulations related to noise control technologies and ensure compliance with legal standards in the development of ANC solutions.
- Scalability: Plan for scalability, ensuring that our ANC technology infrastructure can efficiently accommodate our growth and evolving noise reduction needs.
- Partnerships with Industry: Collaborate with external audio experts, industry leaders, and potential partners to enhance our ANC capabilities and explore new applications.
- Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging feedback and optimizing processes to advance our active noise control technologies.
- Acoustics Expertise: Strong understanding of acoustics principles and their application in active noise control technology.
- DSP Algorithms and Implementations: Experience with digital signal processing algorithms and their implementation in software and hardware.
- Signal Processing: Knowledge of signal processing techniques and their application in noise reduction.
- Low-Level Networking: Familiarity with low-level networking protocols and their implementation in software and hardware.
- Programming Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Dart/Flutter,.Net/C#, Rust, Go, and MATLAB.
- C/C++ Software and Embedded Software: Experience with C/C++ software development and embedded software development.
- RF & Digital R&D: Knowledge of RF and digital research and development principles and their application in active noise control technology.
- NDE / NDT: Familiarity with non-destructive evaluation and non-destructive testing techniques and their application in noise reduction.
- Schematic Capture and PCB Layout: Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout design.
- Process Design: Knowledge of process design principles and their application in active noise control technology.
- Version Control: Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Data Capture and Analysis: Experience with data capture and analysis techniques and their application in noise reduction.
- Team Management: Proven leadership and team management skills.
- P. Eng Required: Professional Engineer (P. Eng) certification is required.
