Job Title: Part-time Clerk, Produce

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Part-time Clerk, Produce to join our team at Loblaw Companies Ltd - Head Office. As a key member of our produce department, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service and quality products.

Responsibilities:
  • Receive, handle, and store produce to achieve optimal results
  • Effectively merchandise advertising and promotional programs
  • Ensure proper product rotation as required
  • Ensure pricing integrity
  • Maintain store cleanliness to appropriate standards
  • Maintain product displays
  • Perform other duties as required to ensure courteous, friendly service, competitively priced products, and a store that meets and maintains hygiene standards
Qualifications/Experience:
  • Ability to meet the needs and demands of customers in a friendly, fast, and efficient manner
  • Willingness to work with others and respond quickly to change
  • Ability to work with minimal functional direction
  • Ability to take direction well and complete tasks within a deadline
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift using work-safe guidelines
  • Availability to work varying shifts, including weekends and evenings
  • Previous retail and/or grocery experience an asset
  • Experience working in produce, meat, deli, bakery departments of grocery retail an asset
