Job Title: Delivery Professional

We are seeking a skilled Delivery Professional to join our team at JS Delivery Services Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering and picking up messages, parcels, and other items by hand, operating and driving automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, be able to transport and handle dangerous goods, and load and unload goods efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and Pick Up: Deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand.
  • Operate and Drive: Operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service and professionalism in customer interactions.
  • Transport and Handle: Transport and handle dangerous goods safely and efficiently.
  • Load and Unload: Load and unload goods efficiently and safely.
  • Record Trip Information: Record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems encountered.
Requirements:
  • Certificates and Licenses: Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles).
  • Security and Safety: Criminal record check, driving record check (abstract), and basic security clearance.
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's licence.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, tight deadlines, and physically demanding work.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots and cellular phone.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, judgement, organized, and reliability.
