Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to clients, ensuring professionalism and a high level of satisfaction.
  • Logistics and Transportation: Operate and drive company vehicles to pick up and deliver items, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
  • Load and Unload: Load and unload goods from vehicles, taking care to handle items with care and attention to detail.
  • Record Keeping: Record trip information, including vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any issues encountered.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Class 5/5F/G Licence: Possess a valid Class 5/5F/G driver's licence, permitting the operation of cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles.
  • Transportation Experience: Have experience with regional and provincial/territorial transportation, with a focus on safe and efficient delivery.
  • Weight Handling: Be able to handle items weighing up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
  • Work Term: Work a permanent schedule, with 40 hours per week.
  • Work Language: Be fluent in English.
