About the Opportunity

William Osler Health System is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Board Liaison to join its team. This role plays a critical part in supporting the Board of Directors and its committees, ensuring that all administrative activities are handled efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support the work of the Board of Directors and its committees.
  • Assist in drafting and disseminating Board-related materials, including agendas, minutes, and annual work plans.
  • Manage and schedule Board and committee meetings.
  • Maintain Board records, including terms of office, attestations, and corporate records.
  • Support the day-to-day administrative operations of the Board Office.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, such as Public Administration, Business Administration, or Health Administration.
  • 3-5 years of experience working at a senior administrative assistant or coordinator level with Boards and Committees.
  • Experience working in healthcare or a highly-regulated business environment is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and proactively.
  • Discretion and tact when handling confidential information.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills to ensure processes meet the needs of the Board and its Executive Team.
  • Excellent time-management skills, with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience working with software applications such as SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and Zoom.
