About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook meals and dishes to meet customer expectations
  • Train and mentor junior staff members in food preparation and cooking techniques
  • Inspect kitchen and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met
  • Order supplies and equipment as needed
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a kitchen environment
  • Basic security clearance
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects
