Delivery Manager Job Description

CB Canada is seeking a seasoned Delivery Manager to lead our Real Time Rail (RTR) Project. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of this project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the project team to identify and mitigate risks, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive project plan, including resource allocation, timelines, and budget.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies, including daily scrums, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Work closely with the Product Owner to ensure the product backlog is well-maintained and aligned with business objectives.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks using agile best practices and project deliverables.
  • Provide regular, standardized reporting on team performance, including velocity, stories completed, and project status.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience as a Delivery Lead/Delivery Manager/Senior PM with Scrum experience.
  • Strong understanding of backlog tracking, Scrum, and Kanban-based metrics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Hands-on experience leading release management activities for successful delivery of product launches.
  • Demonstrated high level of analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a Scrum Master.
  • Working experience in JIRA/Confluence.
  • Experience with System Design and working independently of Architect on creating pragmatic solutions to technical problems.
