Job Title: Welder

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team at On time truck & Trailer Repair inc. As a Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and repairing metal parts and products using various welding techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret welding process specifications and operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes
  • Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment and other metal shaping, straightening and bending machines
  • Determine weldability of materials and operate hoisting and lifting equipment
  • Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks and handling heavy loads
  • Manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye co-ordination
  • Flexibility, organized, team player, punctuality, and hardworking
