Job Title: Database Administrator

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Remote (hybrid 2-3 days a week in office)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining databases to support our business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement databases to meet business requirements
  • Develop and maintain database security policies and procedures
  • Monitor and optimize database performance
  • Troubleshoot database issues and resolve problems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure database integration with other systems
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in database administration

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in database administration
  • Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server 2022/2019/2017 and prior versions
  • Experience with cloud database administration (GCP Cloud SQL, Azure MI/DBaaS/IaaS)
  • Strong understanding of database security, backup, and recovery procedures
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft and/or Google Data Platform certification
  • Experience with Windows Servers 2019/2016 and prior versions
  • Knowledge of application-side tuning vs. server-side tuning
