Job Summary:
DBA Presents is seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator to manage and maintain our SQL Server databases. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the high-performance levels, availability, and security of our database systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Database Management: Manage SQL Server databases through multiple product lifecycle environments, from development to production systems.
- Server Configuration and Maintenance: Configure and maintain database servers and processes to ensure optimal performance and availability.
- Data Modeling and Analysis: Apply data modeling techniques to ensure development and implementation support efforts meet integration and performance expectations.
- Issue Resolution: Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real-time, providing end-to-end problem resolution.
- Process Refining and Automation: Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes.
- Technical Support: Assist developers with complex query tuning and schema refinement.
- 24x7 Support: Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems.
- Scheduled Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities.
- Technical Expertise: Share domain and technical expertise, providing technical mentorship and cross-training to other peers and team members.
