The Departmental Student Council (DSC) Co-President is responsible for promoting student interests within their department. This role requires strong leadership skills, effective communication with faculty members, and the ability to organize events.
Main Responsibilities:
- Departmental Advocacy: Advocate for students' interests within the department.
- Event Organization: Organize and execute academic and social events for the department.
- Faculty Liaison: Prepare for and attend Arts and Science Faculty Board meetings to ensure student representation.
- USAT Administration: Coordinate the administration of Undergraduate Student Assessment Tests (USAT).
- Strategic Planning: Submit a budget and strategic plan to the Academics Commissioner.
