About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team at Dentro Carriers Ltd. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of our accounting systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other accounting documents.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts and ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded and balanced.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to management, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Payroll Administration: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations, including tax laws and financial reporting requirements.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to work under tight deadlines, accurate and efficient interpersonal skills, organized, reliable, and proficient in manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
Work Environment

This is a permanent full-time position, working 40 hours per week. The work language is English.
